Our client is an ambitious and expanding property management business based in Liverpool City Centre, managing a diverse portfolio of residential developments across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Head Of Accounts within their Lettings Department, whose background is ideally within the property sector, to support the financial operations of their Lettings business.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing the financial processes related to lettings to ensure the accounts are accurate, up to date and managed effectively.
What You'll Be Doing
- Working closely with the Lettings Accounts team to maintain financial controls, handle tenant and landlord queries alongside supporting the smooth running of their lettings accounts team.
- Overseeing and assisting the day-to-day management of the lettings accounts, including rent collection, tenant deposit handling and arrears management.
- Manage and oversee payments to landlords, contractors and third parties to ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time.
- Assist in the management of tenant arrears, implement debt collection procedures and work with tenants to set up payment plans as and when necessary.
- Act as a point of contact for landlords and tenants with regards to financial queries, resolving disputes professionally and efficiently.
You will ideally have:
- 3-5 years experience in an accounts or similar finance role with at least 1-2 years of this experience in a supervisory or senior accounts / finance role.
- Strong proficiency in property management and accounting software.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience within property management, block management or residential property would be highly advantageous.
