We are looking for a Financial Mis-Selling Fee Earner to join a growing team within the undisclosed commission department of a well-established legal firm based in Liverpool city centre. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy legal environment and wants to make a genuine impact by supporting clients through financial mis-selling claims.
Important: You must have experience in legal fee earning. Experience in financial mis-selling is desirable but not essential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing a caseload of financial mis-selling claims from start to finish
- Investigating each case thoroughly, gathering all relevant evidence and documentation
- Advising clients clearly on their options and rights throughout the claims process
- Drafting and submitting accurate claims to financial institutions and third parties
- Negotiating settlements and maintaining regular contact with key stakeholders
- Keeping detailed case notes and adhering to data protection and regulatory requirements
- Staying informed on legal developments and compliance within financial mis-selling
- Working collaboratively with your team to enhance internal processes and outcomes
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a legal fee earner, ideally in litigation (essential)
- Knowledge or interest in financial mis-selling is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information to clients
- Detail-oriented with good analytical skills
- Able to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Proactive, client-focused and a strong team player
