We are looking for a dynamic Employment Specialist to join a dedicated team across the Furness Peninsula. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in transforming lives through tailored support, expert guidance, and partnership working with both clients and employers. This isn't a one-size-fits-all role. As an Employment Specialist, you'll deliver focused, one-to-one support that's driven by each person's strengths, aspirations, and circumstances working collaboratively to remove barriers and create clear pathways into meaningful employment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead a caseload of clients, using a strengths-based approach to identify goals and overcome obstacles to employment.
  • Design personalised action plans that support clients at every stage of their journey whether it's confidence-building, training, or navigating the job market.
  • Coach and empower clients with expert advice on job applications, CV development, interview techniques, and transitioning into work.
  • Develop employer relationships, identifying opportunities and advocating for inclusive hiring practices and ongoing support.
  • Champion sustained employment, providing follow-up support to ensure a smooth adjustment and long-term success in the workplace.

What you'll bring:

Due to the nature of this role, you will hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. You will also be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if successful in the role.
