We have a fantastic opportunity to join our clients head office / HQ in the North Liverpool as a Head Of Governance. Our client is a well known property and housing company and the main responsibility as a Head Of Governance will be to lead governance excellence, ensuring that there’s a key focus on robust assurance, regulatory compliance and effective board decision making.

As the Head Of Governance, you’ll do the following:

  • Shape the governance framework
  • Influence board and committee effectiveness
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and assurance
  • Drive a culture of integrity, transparency and accountability

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide high quality, strategic governance advice
  • Lead and continuously enhance governance frameworks
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, statutory and legal requirements
  • Oversee the effective operation of Board and Committee structures
  • Strengthen governance reporting, risk and assurance processes
  • Support strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Develop high-quality, high-performance capability

Requirements:

  • Have experience and examples of being a credible, pragmatic governance leader with experience operating in a regulated housing environment
  • Hold a strong understanding of social housing regulation and governance frameworks
