We are recruiting for an IPS Employment Specialist to support individuals facing barriers into sustainable employment. You will manage a diverse caseload, providing tailored, one-to-one support to help customers build confidence, develop skills, and secure meaningful work. Working across the region, you will take a proactive, person-centred approach engaging employers, identifying opportunities, and supporting individuals through every stage of their journey into employment. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in recruitment and employability, with a key passion about making a difference.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of individuals, conducting thorough assessments to identify personal strengths and barriers to employment.
  • Design bespoke action plans tailored to each customer's needs and career goals, addressing specific challenges they may face.
  • Guide customers through every step, from job applications to interview preparation, skills development, and workplace integration.
  • Help customers build self-confidence and independence through regular check-ins, goal setting, and consistent support.
  • Offer post-placement support, ensuring job retention by assisting with challenges that arise during employment.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in recruitment, sales, employer engagement all within a target-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse individuals.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload or pipeline and work towards outcomes or KPIs.
  • Confidence in engaging with employers and identifying job opportunities (business development mindset).
  • Experience providing advice, guidance, or coaching to support individuals to achieve goals.
  • Organised, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
  • Genuine passion for supporting people to overcome barriers and progress into sustainable employment.
