The Role:

We are recruiting for an Employment Specialist to support people facing barriers to finding and sustaining meaningful employment.
This is a highly rewarding role where you'll make a genuine difference to people's lives every day. Working with a varied caseload, you'll provide tailored one-to-one support, helping individuals build confidence, overcome challenges, develop new skills and achieve their employment goals.
You'll also work closely with local employers, creating opportunities for customers and supporting them throughout their journey into work and beyond. If you thrive on helping people succeed and enjoy building relationships with both candidates and employers, this could be the perfect role for you.

• Managing a caseload of customers, identifying barriers to employment and providing tailored support
• Creating personalised action plans to help individuals achieve their career goals
• Delivering job search support, CV guidance, interview preparation and employability coaching
• Motivating and supporting customers to build confidence, resilience and independence
• Developing relationships with local employers to identify suitable job opportunities
• Promoting candidates to employers and matching individuals to sustainable roles
• Providing in-work support to help customers successfully settle into employment
• Working towards performance targets while maintaining a high-quality customer experience

You'll need:

• Experience within employability, welfare-to-work, careers guidance, recruitment or a similar advisory role
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing a caseload, client portfolio or recruitment pipeline
• Confidence engaging with employers and generating employment opportunities
• The ability to motivate, encourage and support individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
• A genuine passion for helping people achieve sustainable employment outcomes

Due to the nature of this role, you will hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, you will also be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if offered the position.
