Benefits
The Role: As a Field based AV & VC Engineer covering the South of the UK, you’ll be at the forefront of installing, maintaining, and supporting a wide range of AV and VC systems. From LED walls to digital signage, you’ll ensure every installation is delivered to the highest standard. You’ll also play a key role in customer support, fault diagnosis, and delivering user training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain AV and VC solutions, including projectors, video walls, and digital signage.
- Conduct proactive and reactive maintenance on client systems.
- Diagnose and resolve faults on-site efficiently.
- Complete accurate documentation for installations and service visits.
- Deliver end-user training post-installation.
- Build strong relationships with clients and identify new opportunities.
- Ensure smooth handover of installations to the service team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven background in AV/VC installation and support.
- Strong understanding of AV schematics and rack building.
- Familiarity with Extron, Crestron, Kramer, Polycom, Logitech, Cisco, and Yealink.
- Skilled in cable termination (RS232, Cat5e/6).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- ECS Certification or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including internationally.
