Careers Advisor – Schools Across Tameside £29,300.42 Full-time, Temporary Job Description: We are currently recruiting for a skilled Careers Advisor to deliver careers information, advice and guidance in schools, colleges, and at training provider premises across Tameside. You will engage with students and learners who are currently in education, training or seeking employment. You will create individual action or development plans for each customer, effectively managing a caseload to meet current organisational objections/targets set by funding bodies. You will support with the provision of careers and labour market information; personal, social, health and careers education programmes and other support mechanisms for clients. You will have a good understanding of the local labour market and the range of courses/qualifications available to enhance the learning opportunities for students of all ages. You will manage a fluctuating caseload of customers, developing strong working relationships, setting SMART targets, and ensuring learners undertake the required research, learning or completion of application forms including UCAS. We are seeking applicants with a minimum Level 6 IAG qualification, and you will have a proven track record in inspiring learners through impartial careers education, information, advice, and guidance.
