Secondary Supply Teachers needed to work in a variety of schools across Greater Manchester from September 2026. Aspire People are recruiting for daily, part time, full time cover and maternity covers from September 2026. Have you recently completed your PGCE, or have handed in your notice from your full time teaching role? Aspire People are in partnership with a variety of secondary schools across Greater Manchester that will be taking on teachers for full time and part time teaching roles from September. Aspire People offer competitive pay rates and the roles can be fully flexible to work around your schedule!

Across Manchester, the schools we are working with are looking for Secondary Teachers in a range of subjects, so this is an ideal opportunity to try new schools to see what environment suits you best!

Secondary Teacher - Person Specification
  • UK QTS certificate (Essential)
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK curriculum
  • Strong academic background e.g. A-Levels
  • Approachable and passionate person
  • Comfortable with IT and technology
  • Excellent observations during PGCE or Teacher Training
  • £100 joining bonus after working 10 days with us

Your responsibilities will include covering lessons, adhering to school policies on behaviour management and ensuring pupils are receiving strong cover lessons. All candidates who register with Aspire People will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check.
