About Us: We are Aspire People, working in partnership with local schools in Hinckley to support children with special educational needs (SEN). Our mission is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role: We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our team starting September 2026. You will work with a range of SEN-aged children, providing hands-on support to help them engage in learning and develop essential skills. This role is ideal for graduates eager to gain practical experience while making a meaningful difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
  • Support children with SEN in developing academic, social, and emotional skills.
  • Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Observe, monitor, and report on children's progress and needs.
  • Encourage positive behavior and active participation in learning.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children (volunteer, placement, or paid work).
