We are seeking an inspirational, dynamic and highly motivated teacher with experience in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum. The school is open to applications from ECT applications alongside qualified teachers also. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing and inclusive school community that prides itself on providing high-quality early education and care. The role will continue until at least February half term, with the potential for extension beyond this date.
The Role:
- Teaching within a Reception or Nursery class, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Planning and delivering play-based, child-centred lessons aligned with the Early Years Framework.
- Supporting the individual needs of all children to ensure progress and inclusion.
- Working collaboratively with support staff and the SENDCo to provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs.
- Promoting children's social, emotional, and language development through creative and hands-on learning experiences.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support each child's development and wellbeing.
- Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records in line with school and EYFS expectations.
