We're looking for a commercially focused Business Development Manager - Retail Partnerships to take ownership of key UK retail accounts and support growth across major grocery, pharmacy, department store and way of life channels. This is a handsâon, commercially focused, fieldâbased sales role where you'll work directly with retail buyers, spend time inâstore, and be responsible for delivering clear retail performance â not a deskâbased or strategyâonly position.
Key responsibilities
- Own and support growth across a portfolio of UK national retail accounts
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with retail buyers across grocery, pharmacy, department store and way of life channels
- Support sellâthrough, ranging, replenishment and inâstore execution to improve sales performance
- Negotiate and secure premium shelf space, promotional activity and inâstore visibility
- Identify and secure new retail listing opportunities across target channels
- Manage the full sales cycle from outreach and pitching through to ranging and onboarding
- Partner with marketing on POS, campaigns and retail activations to support sellâthrough
- Work closely with operations and supply chain to ensure stock availability and fulfilment
- Share commercial insights, retailer feedback and competitor information with senior leadership
What we're looking for
- 3â5+ years' experience in National Accounts, Key Account Management or retail sales within FMCG, wellness, beauty or consumer goods
- Experienced in delivering against commercial objectives and growing retail accounts
- Strong relationships with UK retail buyers (highly desirable)
- Experience winning and growing retail accounts
- Handsâon, commercially focused and comfortable working in the field and inâstore
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationshipâbuilding skills
- Comfortable working in a busy, founderâled environment

Location: Camden, London (inâoffice with regular travel)
