Aspire People is currently seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant and welcoming primary school to start in September. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with proven experience, or aspiring teachers who wish to work in a primary school before pursuing their teacher training.

The Role:

  • Support across KS1 and KS2, working alongside class teachers to deliver high-quality learning
  • Work across a range of subjects, mainly working in your subject specialism or with young people with additional needs
  • Deliver targeted intervention sessions outside of the classroom, helping to raise attainment
  • Full-time position, with the potential to become a permanent post for the right candidate
  • A trial day will be offered for shortlisted applicants
  • September start

You will need:

  • A degree in core subject, psychology or education related subject
  • Recent, relevant experience working with young people is beneficial
  • Confidence delivering intervention work to small groups
  • A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for education
