We are looking for motivated, compassionate Employment Advisors to join a Restart programme team in Preston. This is a highly rewarding role where you will work closely with individuals facing multiple barriers to employment, supporting them to rebuild confidence, develop skills and move into sustainable work. You will take a hands-on, person-centred approach, building trusting relationships and providing practical, tailored support that helps people move forward at their own pace while keeping a clear focus on positive employment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload, providing one-to-one, face-to-face support from our centre.
- Complete thorough initial assessments to understand each individual's work history, skills, aspirations and challenges.
- Co-create personalised action plans, linking customers with appropriate training, employability support and local services.
- Set and review SMART goals, tracking progress and adapting plans to maintain momentum towards employment.
- Provide ongoing motivation, encouragement and practical guidance to build confidence, resilience and employability skills.
- Maintain accurate records and work to performance measures.
