ALN Teachers Needed in Cardiff - September Start! Are you a passionate teacher looking to make a real difference supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? Do you want flexible and rewarding work across primary, secondary, and specialist ALN/SEND schools in Cardiff and surrounding areas? Aspire People are recruiting dedicated and adaptable ALN Teachers for a range of roles starting this September. We have long-term, short-term, full-time and flexible opportunities available to suit your experience and availability.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to ALN/SEND pupils
- Support learners with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Work 1:1 and with small groups to support progress and engagement
- Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and wider support staff
- Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor and report on pupil progress
Who We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with ALN/SEND pupils is desirable but not essential
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willing to obtain registration
