Our client is a well-established freight forwarding business operating internationally, with a strong presence across Europe. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Sales Coordinator to join their European road freight team. The role is based at a modern logistics park office, and due to limited public transport access, candidates must be able to drive.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing inbound enquiries for European groupage services
- Preparing and managing quotations and bookings
- Supporting the wider sales team with pricing and customer queries
- Liaising with customers, overseas partners, suppliers, and internal operations teams
Essential Requirements
- Solid understanding of European road freight operations
- Ability to manually calculate costs and charges
- Knowledge of taxable kilos
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
Desirable
- Previous experience within a freight forwarding or logistics environment
Package
- Salary up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
