We are looking for an experienced and proactive Road Freight Operator to join our clients busy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the movement of freight from origin to final destination across Europe and the UK.
- Manage daily operations involving international and national road freight.
- Liaise effectively with customers, overseas agents, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient transport solutions.
- Handle and process all necessary documentation, including Customs paperwork.
- Monitor shipments and resolve issues promptly.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in European road freight operations.
- Solid understanding of taxable kilos and ability to manually calculate costs and charges.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proven experience working with Customs documentation.
- A team player with the confidence to work independently when needed.
