About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Drainage Supervisor to support the delivery of drainage services for projects across the UK. This role will involve supervising operational teams, coordinating works, providing technical guidance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding of drainage systems and associated maintenance, repair, investigation, and remedial works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise drainage engineers, operatives, and subcontractors across multiple sites.
  • Plan and coordinate daily workloads, resources, and project requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.
  • Review CCTV survey reports and recommend suitable remedial solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams.
  • Liaise with clients regarding ongoing works, progress updates, and technical recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Prepare reports, quotations, and technical recommendations where required.
  • Investigate drainage defects and identify appropriate repair solutions.
  • Support reactive and planned maintenance operations.
  • Monitor productivity, quality standards, and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within the drainage industry.
  • Experience supervising drainage engineers or operational teams.
  • Strong understanding of drainage investigations, maintenance, repairs, and remedial works.
  • Ability to interpret CCTV survey reports and technical findings.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Wincan experience.
  • CCTV surveying knowledge.
  • NRSWA Supervisor qualification.
  • Confined Space qualification.
  • High Pressure Water Jetting knowledge.
