Our client is hiring a hands-on Finance Manager / Company Accountant to lead the finance function within a growing SME, working closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales and purchase ledgers, payments and reconciliations
- Oversee credit control and finance queries
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure financial compliance
- Produce cash flow forecasts and monthly management accounts
- Provide financial insight and support decision-making
- Improve finance processes and systems
Essential Requirements:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA (qualified, part-qualified, or QBE)
- SME or standalone finance experience
- Comfortable across transactional and reporting finance
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach
Desirable:
- Project or operational environment experience
- Process improvement experience
Package: £45,000 – £70,000 depending on experience
