Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead the delivery of a significant low-rise residential development near Ashford, Kent. This site-based role will oversee the project from commencement through to completion, ensuring delivery against programme, budget, quality and safety objectives. The successful candidate will take ownership of site operations, implement effective systems and processes, and build strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
This opportunity would suit a Project Manager from a Tier 1 contractor, regional contractor or residential developer background who is looking to take ownership of a significant residential scheme.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the successful delivery of the project from start to completion.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Monitor programme performance and drive project milestones.
- Implement and maintain site systems, processes and reporting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts and cost control processes.
- Chair site progress meetings and coordinate key stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
- Proven experience delivering residential construction projects.
- Experience working on low-rise residential developments.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and programme management experience.
- Proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
- Background within a Tier 1 contractor, regional contractor or residential developer preferred.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- £70,000 - £85,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- Fixed-term contract for the duration of the project (20 months)
