We are working with an established construction recruitment agency based in Rickmansworth that is looking to appoint a Resourcer to support its busy blue-collar division. The business operates as part of a wider recruitment group and offers a stable, well-structured environment with an experienced leadership team and a strong client base.
The successful candidate will support a predominantly temporary desk, sourcing and delivering skilled and semi-skilled labour into live construction projects. This is a delivery-focused role with the opportunity to progress into a full 360 consultant position over time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and screening candidates within the trades and labour market
- Managing candidate availability and maintaining labour pipelines
- Supporting consultants with live temporary requirements
- Ensuring compliance and candidate documentation is kept up to date
- Maintaining regular contact with placed workers
The Market:
- Trades and labour recruitment including labourers, electricians, plumbers and other site operatives
- Clients include housebuilders and national fit-out contractors delivering projects for major retail and commercial brands
- Predominantly London-based projects with some national coverage
- Approximately 90% temporary recruitment
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Resourcer or delivery consultant (construction experience preferred but not essential)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, temporary recruitment environment
- Strong communication skills and work ethic
- Desire to build a long-term career within recruitment
Package:
- Basic salary between £28,000 and £32,000 depending on experience
