Deputy Manager – Permanent, South Croydon.
Salary £35k plus benefits
Our client is a leading provider of commercial Business Centres in the Southeast with excellent customer service, transparency and flexibility at the heart of the company values. The company offer high quality flexible workspace and support services to a diverse community of small and growing businesses.
They are seeking a proactive and organised Deputy Centre Manager to support the Centre Manager and other members of the team to ensure that their customers are provided with all the services to which they are entitled.
Your role:
- Responsible for all centre operations in the absence of the Centre Manager
- To use best endeavors to let space and in response to enquiries:
a) Provide general marketing material
b) inform about availability of premises and services
c) conduct viewing and complete licence agreement
- Facilitate the arrival and departure of customers by carrying out and arranging issue of welcome packs, provision of keys and fobs, assist with arranging repair of dilapidations. Notifying rates department of new/vacating or moving customers
- Provide internet supply to each unit, support new customers with internet set up options
- Configuration, installations of VoIP phones along with ongoing support using the back end system
- Setting up and monitoring on site services to customers / virtual customers, including reception facilities, telephone answering/call forwarding, photocopying, franking, postal services and utilities contracts/cleaning
- Take bookings, arrange and help deliver services to conference/meeting rooms and hot-desk
- Monitoring the performance of onsite services and contractors including: Contract cleaning, refuse, landscaping, washroom services, car parking, and CCTV systems, etc., and reporting to the CM
- Overseeing and recording Health and safety checks including but not limited to: evacuations, weekly fire alarm check, monthly emergency lighting and electromagnetic door locks check
- Help and support with network and charity events
Full time: 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Holiday: 25 days rising to 28 after qualifying period (plus Bank Holidays)
The ideal person –
You will have strong administration skills and ideally experience in a business centre or similar environment, or facilities management. Project management would be an advantage. You will be a strong communicator with a friendly and professional manner. We are looking for a customer-focused candidate that has the ability to build positive relationships.
