Our client is an Award-Winning firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors, at the forefront of the profession, taking a proactive approach to accounting and taxation, with a view to providing a value-added service to its clients. They aim to give more than is traditionally expected through strong business and taxation advice and by keeping in regular contact with their clients.
Through continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Audit Senior (with around 4 years' accountancy practice experience).
Broad Purpose of Job:Carrying out audit and accounting assignments.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:- Undertakes audit assignments, from planning through to completion, for review by the firm’s Audit Manager.
- Manages the process of preparing accounts and corporation tax computations, including working on consolidated accounts.
- Assists the Director and Audit Manager with quality control aspects of auditing and accounting.
- Oversees the work of audit juniors and assists with their training in relation to audit.
- Ensures all deadlines are met and manages workload accordingly to prioritise any urgent tasks.
- Liaises directly with clients to ensure all information is available to carry out the audit and to address any queries or questions that arise.
- Provides support to the accounts team with the preparation of statutory accounts, Corporation Tax returns, and personal tax returns.
- Any other reasonable task required from time to time.
