We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Year 6 team. This role involves supporting students during their final year of primary school, particularly in the lead-up to SATs.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the class teacher to provide support across core subjects, including English, Maths, and Science.
- Provide targeted support for individual students and small groups to prepare them for SATs.
- Help create a positive classroom environment, foster engagement and maintain good behaviour.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to inform tailored learning plans.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to SATs preparation and assessment.
- Experience working with Key Stage 2 students, ideally within a Year 6 setting.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, especially SATs preparation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
- Proactive attitude and genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
