Are you a qualified and experienced teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for teaching Year 5 pupils? We are seeking dedicated and skilled Class Teachers to join Aspire People to work in Telford to work in a Year 5 class from September 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Year 5 students.
  • Follow the existing curriculum and schemes of work, ensuring continuity and progression in learning.
  • Collaborate with the Year 5 teaching team to plan engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and record observations in line with school policies.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that supports the development of each child.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive learning community.
  • Uphold the school's values and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in meetings, events, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT).
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 5).
  • A solid understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • The ability to plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the students.
  • Effective assessment and record-keeping skills to track student progress.
