We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Quinton, Birmingham. This role is available for an immediate start and offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £167 to £232 depending on experience. Flexible working arrangements can also be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and track student progress to ensure academic development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported.
- Work closely with the SENCO and other staff members to support students with additional needs.
- Engage with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress and school activities.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a safe learning space.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in a primary school, preferably with Year 4 students.
- Strong understanding of the primary national curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
