Job Title: Full-Time Year 1 Teaching Assistant Location: Tamworth Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? This Primary School in Tamworth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role focuses on providing support to pupils through small group work and targeted interventions, particularly those with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Responsibilities: * Small Group Support: Work closely with Year 1 pupils in small groups, providing individualised attention and support to enhance their learning experience. * Interventions: Implement and assist in the delivery of targeted interventions to address the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of students. * Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the teaching team and external professionals to develop and implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being. * Individualised Support Plans: Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualised Support Plans for students, ensuring a holistic and tailored approach to their needs. * Classroom Assistance: Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. * Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and monitor the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to progress reports.
