We are currently recruiting experienced Site Supervisors to support a number of primary schools across Wolverhampton. Schools are seeking dependable and proactive individuals who can take responsibility for the security, maintenance, and day-to-day presentation of the school site. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the school remains safe, clean, and fully operational for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Main Responsibilities
- Opening and locking the school premises daily
- Carrying out routine health and safety inspections
- Completing minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks
- Monitoring contractors and site visitors
- Ensuring the school grounds remain clean, safe, and secure
- Managing deliveries and moving equipment where required
- Supporting fire safety and emergency procedures
- Reporting maintenance issues to senior leadership
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor, Caretaker, or Facilities Assistant within a school environment
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Basic maintenance and DIY skills
- Reliable, organised, and hardworking approach
- Ability to respond to site issues quickly and professionally
