About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students across Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3 & KS4), delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and helping students build a strong foundation in the sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and engaging Science lessons to secondary school students.
- Inspire students to develop a passion for Science and encourage curiosity in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals.
- Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student engagement.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve the Science curriculum and share best practices.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field).
- Passionate about teaching and helping students achieve success in Science.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
- Available to start immediately.
