We are recruiting confident and enthusiastic Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisors to work across schools in Aberdare and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers and experienced education professionals looking for flexible or long-term work.
The Role
- Supervise classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons
- Support learning through the medium of Welsh where required
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Encourage pupil engagement and positive behaviour
- Ensure pupils complete the work provided by their teacher
- Work alongside teaching staff and school leadership
Who We’re Looking For
- Fluent Welsh speaker - essential
- Experience working with children or young people is essential (school, tutoring, coaching, youth work, volunteering or similar)
- Confident managing a classroom
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Positive, reliable and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
