Location: Walsall. Contract: Full-time (5 days a week). Role: Resource Base Teaching Assistant for a school in Walsall, working within a dedicated SEND provision.

Responsibilities

  • Support children with ASD and SEMH needs.
  • Work with pupils of all Primary ages and abilities.
  • Assist with lesson delivery, classroom management, and skill development.
  • Encourage independence, engagement, and participation in learning activities.
  • Collaborate closely with other staff members within the room.

  • Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly ASD and SEMH.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
