Sports Coaches & Youth Workers Needed - Monmouth Primary Schools

Are you a Sports Coach or Youth Worker looking to take your experience into a primary school setting? We're recruiting energetic, reliable and enthusiastic candidates to support pupils across primary schools in Monmouth. Your experience motivating, mentoring and engaging children could transfer brilliantly into a Teaching Assistant or school support role.

The Role

  • Support pupils in the classroom and during practical activities
  • Use sport, games and physical activity to encourage engagement and confidence
  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and independence
  • Support teachers with classroom activities and learning
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff

  • Welsh-speaking desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
