Primary Teaching Assistants Needed - Vale of Glamorgan - September 2026 Start! Are you passionate about supporting children and helping them thrive in the classroom? We are recruiting caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across welcoming Primary Schools throughout the Vale of Glamorgan. Whether you already work in education or have experience supporting children through coaching, childcare, placements, youth work or volunteering, we would love to hear from you. We have flexible day-to-day, long-term and full-time opportunities available.

The Role

  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Support learning, engagement and pupil confidence
  • Assist teachers in creating a positive classroom environment
  • Support children with additional learning needs where required
  • Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive environment

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people is essential
  • School experience desirable but not essential
  • Positive, patient and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Welsh-speaking desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
