Psychology Teacher Needed - Monmouth
Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced Psychology Teacher to join a secondary school in Monmouth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a full-time, long-term position within a supportive secondary school.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Teaching Psychology
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Preparing students for relevant GCSE and/or A-Level Psychology examinations
- Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department
- Supporting students with ALN/SEN where required
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
We're Looking For
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Psychology
- Experience teaching Psychology within a secondary school or FE setting
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- EWC registration or willingness to obtain
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
