The Role
Aspire People are looking for a dedicated ALN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a Reception-age child in a school in Monmouth.
This is an ongoing morning position, Monday to Friday, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with young children and can provide patient, consistent and nurturing support.
The Role Includes
- Providing 1:1 support to a Reception-age child
- Supporting the child's additional learning needs (ALN)
- Helping the child engage with classroom learning and activities
- Supporting communication, interaction and confidence
- Encouraging independence and positive development
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
We're Looking For
- Previous experience supporting ALN/SEND is desirable
- Experience working with Early Years or Reception-age children
- Patient, nurturing and understanding approach
- Experience providing 1:1 support is desirable
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- Reliable and consistent, with a positive attitude
