Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and supportive primary school in Banbury (OX17) seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a welcoming school where you can make a real difference, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, and those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The Role
- Support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN.
- Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities.
- Help promote pupils' confidence, independence, and academic progress.
- Support behaviour management and contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support children's development.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
- Has experience supporting children across KS1, KS2, and SEN.
- Is patient, adaptable, and committed to helping every child succeed.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Can use their own initiative and work effectively as part of a wider school team.
- Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
