Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering the curriculum to students across a variety of subjects and age groups.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, especially those who require additional help, including children with special educational needs (SEN).
- Help with the preparation of classroom resources and activities that engage students and promote active learning.
- Support the management of classroom behavior, fostering a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including setting up learning materials, marking work, and recording progress.
- Encourage children’s social and emotional development, helping them build relationships with peers and teachers.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students’ learning and personal development.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude, willing to respond to the varying needs of the classroom.

- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
