Aspire is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Kings Heath setting this January. We are seeking someone with strong epilepsy awareness and hands-on experience supporting individuals with epilepsy, or someone who has previously completed epilepsy-specific training.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Support learners with additional needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment
Provide confident and informed care for students with epilepsy
Work closely with staff, families, and specialists to ensure student safety
Help create a positive, engaging learning experience for all young people
Essential Requirements
Strong understanding of epilepsy
Prior experience supporting individuals with epilepsy or completed epilepsy training
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
