We are currently working in partnership with a Mainstream Primary School that celebrates cultural richness and diversity, to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team committed to nurturing the academic and personal development of every child.

The Role: As a Teaching Assistant at Waterside Primary, you will play a key role in:

  • Providing in-class support to teachers, helping deliver dynamic and engaging lessons
  • Preparing learning materials and classroom resources
  • Encouraging a respectful, inclusive learning space that honours the diverse backgrounds of pupils
  • Supporting individual learners and small groups with tailored assistance
  • Promoting positive behaviour and social skills
  • Assisting with essential admin tasks such as marking and progress tracking

About You: We are looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic about education and passionate about supporting children’s learning journeys
  • Culturally aware and values inclusion and equality
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in a busy school environment
  • Qualified in education or childcare (desirable, but not required)
