We are working closely with our school in Horncastle who are looking to add a Math teacher from May until the end of the academic year, likely beyond and into 2027.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach KS3/KS4 Math effectively and creatively across the age and ability range.
  • Ensure students are assessed in line with department and school policy and to use assessment to inform student learning.
  • Report to parents on student progress as required by school policy.
  • Attend and contribute to Math department meetings.
  • Follow departmental schemes of work and where appropriate, contribute to their development.
  • Promote Math in the school and contribute to enrichment and extra-curricular activities.
  • Support student learning through regular target setting.
  • Keep up to date with current thinking and new initiatives regarding Math Teaching.
