About the role You will have the chance to be assisting the teaching of lessons to children aged 3 to 5, forming relationships with both staff and students. You will be helping to build students learning foundations of future subjects through various activities encouraging fun learning. There is also a range of other opportunities within a school environment including before and after school club support as well as nursery nurse roles. Requirements To be considered for the role of Early Years Teaching Assistant you will: * Have a DBS that is registered on the update service or be able to apply for a new DBS. * Be able to secure references to cover the last two years. * Have at least 2 weeks of relevant, school based work. * Be a welcoming influence on the classroom and individual’s learning. You will also need to give feedback to the class teacher on this learning. * Be able to form meaningful working relationships with both staff and students.
