About the Role
Aspire People are seeking a passionate and reliable Qualified Supply Teacher to join our network of educational professionals in the Lambeth area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers or newly qualified teachers (NQTs) to gain flexible and rewarding teaching experience in a variety of schools, ranging from primary to secondary levels.
As a supply teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and maintain the continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Adapting quickly to different classroom environments and school policies.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
- Following lesson plans provided or planning appropriate content if required.
- Marking and assessing work in line with school policies (where applicable).
- Building positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in UK schools, preferably in the Lambeth or South London area.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different school settings.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to teaching.
- Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
