We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Teacher to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH, autism, physical disabilities, and other complex profiles. The Role:
- Deliver individualised, high-quality education to children not currently attending school.
- Plan and implement engaging, needs-led lessons tailored to each pupil's EHCP and learning goals.
- Work autonomously in settings such as the child's home or other appropriate quiet spaces.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families to support educational re-engagement and progress.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with a range of SEND, particularly SEMH, autism, and physical or medical needs.
- Able to plan, deliver, and assess lessons independently.
- Comfortable working one-to-one in a variety of non-school environments.
- Excellent communication, safeguarding awareness, and record-keeping skills.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Location: Various - travel required to pupil locations
Hours: Flexible (school hours, term-time ONLY)
