A well-regarded mainstream, OFSTED "Good" primary school in Stoke-On-Trent is seeking a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term, full-time basis, supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6).
Responsibilities
- Provide in-class support across KS2, working with pupils individually and in small groups.
- Assist with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and pupil engagement.
- Deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy.
- Support the implementation of the KS2 curriculum under teacher guidance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a primary school, ideally within Key Stage 2.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Confident supporting pupils with varying academic and behavioural needs.
- A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
