About the Role
A welcoming and high-achieving secondary school based in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons for History.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, high-quality History lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach across KS3 and KS4, ensuring all students are supported and challenged.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain excellent classroom management to promote a positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to contribute to the school's continued success.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching History within a secondary school setting (preferred).
