Are you an energetic, sporty Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? We are working with a welcoming and supportive school in Cardiff seeking a confident and proactive TA to join their team this September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role and can use sport and physical activity as a tool to engage pupils, build relationships, and support positive behaviour.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of ALN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
  • Using sports, movement, and practical activities to encourage engagement and participation
  • Assisting the class teacher with delivering tailored learning and interventions
  • Promoting positive behaviour strategies and supporting emotional regulation
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may present challenging behaviours

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within an ALN/SEN setting
  • A sporty, energetic personality - someone who can bring enthusiasm into the classroom
