We are recruiting enthusiastic individuals to support pupils in schools across Pontypool. Your experience motivating, mentoring and working with children and young people could make you an excellent Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor or Cover Supervisor.
The Role
- Support pupils in the classroom and around the school
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning
- Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assist teachers in creating a positive learning environment
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people is essential (coaching, youth work, mentoring, volunteering or similar)
- Positive, energetic and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Welsh-speaking desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
