This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and working within an inclusive, dynamic educational environment. You will be supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their personal and academic goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced staff and make a positive difference to young learners' lives.
Key Duties
- Providing direct support to students with a range of SEN, helping them to access learning
- Assisting in the development and implementation of tailored learning plans and strategies
- Supporting students with personal and social development, including managing behaviour
- Liaising with teachers and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to students' education
- Offering emotional support and helping students build confidence and independence
- Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Who We're Looking For
- Experience working in a UK-based school, ideally with children who have special educational needs
- A passion for supporting children and a genuine desire to help them succeed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- SEN-related qualifications or training is an advantage but not essential
