  • Help create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
  • Support the assessment and tracking of children's progress, contributing to the development of individual learning plans.
  • Help with classroom organization, ensuring that materials and resources are easily accessible and well-maintained.
  • Engage in observations and assessments to provide valuable feedback on children's progress to the teacher and parents.
  • Assist with lunchtime and break time supervision, ensuring children are safe and well-cared for.

Key Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or a related field (CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ, or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous experience working in an EYFS setting is required.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and the developmental needs of young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • A positive, patient, and caring approach to supporting children's development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
