We are currently recruiting multiple full-time Teaching Assistants to work in a supportive and inclusive primary school in Northfield. These roles are based within the school’s resource base, supporting a small group of children with additional learning and behavioural needs. The children you will be supporting may find it challenging to access traditional sit‑down lessons and require provision‑based support to help them engage with the curriculum in a way that meets their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting a small group of pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs
  • Adapting activities to help pupils access the curriculum effectively
  • Providing structured, practical, and nurturing support outside of traditional classroom settings where needed
  • Supporting emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in a school, SEND, or similar setting - essential
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs and/or behavioural challenges - highly desirable
